Responsibilities:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our Finley Branch.
This position is full time, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays and after-hours work required.
The role will be mainly based in our service department, but your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support Service Technicians with parts
- Promotion and sales of products and/or services to suit customer needs
- Handling of parts sales and enquiries
- Placement of stock orders
- Providing technical parts advice
- Receipting of in-shipments and assistance with delivery to proper inventory locations
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of merchandise displays
- Facilitation of inter branch transfers of stock
- Follow up on back orders and stock shortages
- Administration tasks as required
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
The Ideal Candidate
- An experienced Parts Interpreter, ideally with a John Deere or similar large ag product background
- A reliable and punctual person with a friendly approach and positive outlook
- Someone who can work well in a team
- Ideally hold your current forklift licence
- Possess the ability to provide support, coaching and technical training to less experienced team members
