Job Description
Tasks:
- As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for writing queries to calculate KPIs and creating visualisations to be able to provide information for internal and external stakeholders;
- You will enable our stakeholders to get data-driven insights regarding users and products by cleaning complex data, understanding and exploring data, and by transforming data and storing valuable metrics;
- You will evaluate data availability and engage with data producers or data infrastructure providers, to ensure the data is available and ready to use;
- You will be responsible to provide feedback to UX and business analysts regarding requested KPIs and visualisations, helping to improve the quality of the products;
- You will program scripts to enable the access to data;
- You will establish toolchains to automate data loading processes;
- You will support data engineers defining the necessary data model and reviewing the available data in order to achieve high data quality in the data processing steps;
- You will collaborate on creating a data infrastructure that can be applied to the eBike organisation and does not require adapting for each use case;
- You will help to integrate external data sources with the internal ones to enhance the value of the data provided for the customers;
- You will support backend and frontend developers to be able to deliver dashboards integrated in web portals;
- You will share your data and analytics knowledge and proactively give support to other data analysts/scientists to ensure high quality in the shared results.
Qualifications
Profile:
Experience and Knowledge:
- You have been working in the area of data analytics for several years and understand the challenges involved;
- You are experienced in visualising data so it can be consumed by non-technical users.
Qualifications:
- Python (pandas, numpy, etc)/pyspark;
- SQL;
- Hadoop;
- Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. PowerBI, Tableau or similar;
- Linux is a plus;
- Experience with data and KPIs, generating insights from data;
- Experience with cloud tools is a plus;
- Experience in Data Engineering is a plus: Databases, ETL Tasks, Airflow.

Education:
- Completed University degree (Bachelor/Masters/Diploma) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable qualifications.
Languages:
- Excellent competence in spoken and written English. German is a plus.
